Jeff Passan from yahoosports.com joined me recently to talk about instant replay in Major League Baseball, as well as the chances the Reds could continue to be contenders in the 2010 season.  We recorded this interview in June, 2010, right after Detroit Tigers pitcher, Armando Gallaraga lost his perfect game because umpire Jim Joyce made the wrong call at first base.  My position is, MLB Commissioner, Bud Selig had no authority to overturn a call made on the field that had no bearing on the outcome of the game.

Former Reds star and now current MLB Network analyst, Sean Casey joined me on my radio show on 700 WLW to talk about the prospects for the 2010 Cincinnati Reds.   The "Mayor" was always one of our favorite Reds, who always has a great outlook on baseball and the game of life.  I'll always remember Casey for his clubhouse post game dance, after every Reds win.   I only wish there had been more of them for Casey to celebrate

We're celebrating the 35th anniversity of the 1975 Cincinnati Reds World Series win this year.  What a team that was: Rose, Bench, Perez, Morgan, Concepcion.  And what a World Series it was in 1975.   Game 6 was perhaps the most exciting and most memorable World Series game ever.   Author Mark Frost has captured a lot of that excitement in a book titled Game Six.  It is the story of the 1975 season for both the Reds and Red Sox, with the pivotal game of the 1975 Series serving as a back drop.   Frost joined me recently on my radio show on 700 WLW in Cincinnati to talk about that Series, that game and his book.  If you're old enough to remember the Big Red Machine, you should give this a listen.
